This is a game Claire plays with all Her tinies. If he tries to run he will DEFINITELY be squashed. If he stays where he is he might be let free. Or he might be squashed. Or he might be squashed... a little. Anyway, his whimpering as he sees Her sole get gradually closer is music to Her ears.
I wonder if She could be careful enough to pin me down, so that I wasn't actually crushed but that I could feel Her sole on me. I couldn't escape or move and breathing would be difficult. Knowing that with the slightest move Claire COULD crush me and hoping She doesn't. Knowing that I am just a tiny, powerless and at Her whim.
"will she crush him or just toy with him?"
