The tiny hasn't much choice but to curl up and hope for the best. He's lying in such a precarious position and anything could happen when Melanie pushes Her foot into Her shoe. He might roll out and onto the floor. He could get nicely tucked under Her toes. Or he might get squashed. For Her part, Melanie hopes the tiny will survive, but if he doesn't - oh well - She has plenty of others.
My choice would be trapped under Her toes. That way as She walks around it would be a delightful agony. Every step putting immense pressure on me. But I'd be happy and take the pain, just to be near to Her beautiful feet.
